Coming the raw prawn

More than twice the number of prawns per hectare! Now that’s innovation. CSIRO scientists have developeda new breed of Black Tiger prawns produced produced at an average of 12.8 tonnes per hectare compared with the industry average of five tonnes. And the taste is OK too. The new Black Tiger breed won the prestigious “Champion of Show” award at Sydney’s Royal Easter Show.
