Labor favoured asCentrebet suspends election betting

The bookmakers are calling the event over. With the three country independents on the verge of announcing their decision the satchel swingers are worried about being caught by the indiders traders.
The Sydney Morning Herald website reports under the headline Centrebet suspends election betting: "Betting agency Centrebet has suspended betting on the federal election, with north Queensland independent MP Bob Katter expected to announce on Sunday which party he will support to form the next government.
Centrebet spokesman Neil Evans said Labor was at $1.51 and the coalition $2.50 when betting was suspended on Saturday afternoon."
The Crikey Election Indicator also has Labor as the favourite to become the Government.
