Online job ads fall in July

I wonder if figures like these will cause the Coalition to reconsider its policy of ending economic stimulus spending ASAP? Without the public housing and school building components of the Labor package there would certainly be a rise in building worker unemployment.

Online job ads fall in July: "Online job advertisements fell for the second time this year in July, driven by a fall in the building and construction sector that appears likely to continue
The Advantage Job Index fell by 1.3 per cent in July, compared with a 0.14 per cent rise in June and a 5.47 per cent lift in May
The worst hit sectors were human resources, which fell 10.42 per cent, and building and construction, down 9.4 per cent
'It's not surprising that we've seen a decrease in building and construction jobs given the banks ongoing lending squeeze for commercial property,' Advantage Resourcing director of global market intelligence Robert Olivier said.
'Combine the fall in residential building approvals with the reduction of the first-home owners grant, this trend looks set to continue.'"
