Sarkozy spins out a crowd

Having once sent a party leader on a street walk down a street where there were no people I understand why French President Sarkozy's team opted for a rent-a-crowd when he visited a building site this week. Standing on your own does not make for good television pictures.
But nor does having the story of the day focus on how you stacked the crowd scenes with supporters. When spinning events care must be taken.
Europe 1 Radio reported how President Sarkozy was accused of busing in half the workers who appeared to give him an enthusiastic welcome.
Said the bona fide worker Amrboise the mason::
"There are some who are from other sites.I have known two or three but I did not know the others."
